Revier3D builds a 3D diorama of your ground from an elevation model and aerial imagery, plus a 2D working map, the planner for everyday work, offline use in the app and end-to-end encryption. Outside Austria, Germany and Switzerland we set your ground up on request.
How your ground gets onto the map
How an enquiry outside Austria, Germany and Switzerland works:
- Official bodies on site. We first approach the surveying and cadastral offices, the forestry and environmental authorities and the national geodata portals of your country.
- Commercial providers and data brokers. Where the official data is not enough, we obtain quotes: UP42 (satellite and aerial imagery, elevation models), Vexcel Data Program (high-resolution aerial imagery, true ortho), SkyWatch EarthCache (satellite imagery, targeted new captures), Airbus OneAtlas (Pléiades imagery, WorldDEM), Intermap NEXTMap (terrain and surface models) and AW3D by NTT DATA (global elevation model, ortho imagery).
- Boundary. Parcels are not included internationally. You supply your ground boundary as a file or draw it yourself on the map.
- Preview. We build your ground and show you a preview. Depending on the quality of the aerial imagery and elevation data, a deposit is sometimes required.
Only the area extent goes to the providers, never your contact details.

The price covers the setup. From the second year your ground runs on the regular subscription.
The enquiry and the review of your region are free. The 249 € cover the setup: checking the data, building the ground, the preview, access for your team. If we have to buy in aerial imagery or an elevation model, the cost of that data is added. Extra effort, for example preparing your own data, is only charged by agreement.
Examples
- Canada, British Columbia, 30 km²: Lidar terrain and provincial aerial imagery are freely available. Setup 249 €, no extra cost.
- Norway, 40 km²: Lidar data and orthophotos from Kartverket are free. Setup 249 €, no extra cost.
- Namibia, 25 km²: No free aerial imagery and no fine elevation model. A 30 cm archive satellite image costs about 480 € at the minimum order of 25 km² (Pléiades Neo, 22.50 $ per km²), a 50 cm image about 270 € (Pléiades, 12.50 $ per km²). An elevation model finer than 30 m is only available by purchase, price on quote. Together from about 470 € plus the elevation model.
- USA, Montana, 60 km²: USGS lidar terrain and 60 cm aerial imagery are free. Setup 249 €; a sharper satellite image only on request, about 480 € per 25 km².

Common questions
What data do I need for my ground?
Your ground boundary, either as a file (GPX, KML, KMZ, GeoJSON or shapefile ZIP) or drawn by you on the map. We source the aerial imagery and the elevation model: first from the official bodies of your country, otherwise from commercial providers. If you have your own data, we use it.
How long does it take?
We reply to your enquiry within 5 working days with feasibility and price. Building the ground then takes a few weeks, depending on the data situation. You see a preview before we settle the final invoice.
What does it cost?
From 249 €. The enquiry and the review are free; the 249 € cover the setup. If we have to buy in aerial imagery or an elevation model, the cost of that data is added. We name the exact price after reviewing your region.
What is not included outside Austria?
No hunting law module, so no open seasons, reporting deadlines or official forms. No official hunting ground boundaries and no land parcels from a cadastre. The terrain is as fine as the source in your country allows.
Available right away
If your ground is in Austria, Germany or Switzerland you do not need an enquiry: there you create your ground yourself, with aerial imagery, terrain and boundary from the official state data. In Austria the hunting law details come with it.
